You know, that guy? If you haven't heard of him, get out from under your rock.
Here is how:
To perform the glitch, the player must talk to the old man located in the north of Viridian City and allow him to demonstrate how to catch a Pokémon. After the demonstration, the player should immediately Fly to Cinnabar Island. Here, the player should surf up and down along the east coast of the island where the water is touching the land without leaving Cinnabar Island. Wild Pokémon will appear, based on the player's name. If it is a custom name or a certain letter, then it will be Missingno.
Here's some little known facts:
He is a Bird/Normal type. Not flying. Bird. It's speculated that it is the Beta name for flying. However, like other glitch Pokemon, it has the Normal type as its type by default.

When transported to Pokemon Stadium, it will look like a Sandshrew Doll that you would normally get when you use Substitute. In PS2, it looks like a Ditto.
In R/B, it's move set is: Water Gun Water Gun Sky Attack
In Yellow it's move set is: Pay Day Bind Water Gun
If you evolve it at level 224 (that's what it said on Bulbapedia) you get a bigger blob of pixels.
It's base stats in RB: HP-33 Attack-136 Defense-0 Special-6 Speed-29
In Yellow: HP-178 Attack-19 Defense-11 Special-23 Speed-0

Did you know that you can fight Professor Oak? It was programmed into the game, but never actually in it.

He's actually harder to beat than Blue, suggesting that he was the real final boss.

Huh, considering his favorite pokemon was 3 level 5 moronic pokefails.
Yeah... unless he uses like unique unobtainable pokemon, he wouldn't have seemed like much of a challenge
