| Profile Editing is where you can edit your profile in any way you want too. The first thing that pops up when you click on profile is the personal information, here you can choose what you want people to know about you, your humor, comments (Like on the forum or anything you want to do a quick comment on), gender,age, and jobs/hobbies. However we do ask that you do not give away more detailed personal information, which means giving away your address, state or nation that you are living in is fine, but no exact information.
Not only can you edit the information you do not want, or want to be shown to people, but you can also change your password, and show what messenger or communication website you use.
Besides the personal information, you can even get more detailed with your account information. These information links are above the personal information page.
They are as followed; Avatar, signature, friends and foes, preferences, Topic(s) being watched, and Favorites.
So lets get into more detail on just what each information link essentially does.
Avatar: This is where you can choose a picture that will be displayed in the left side of your post, the picture can be from the gallery or you can upload the image. However there are limitations of what you can put on as a avatar. Please read the forum rules for additional information.
Signature: A signature is your own way of letting people know immediately who you are. You can put in text, and then change the color, put in pictures, and put in flash animations plus videos from YouTube(Your account has to be a week old before you can post YouTube videos or flash animations in your signature). Again just like the avatar there are some limitations.
Friends and Foes:This is where you can add people to your Friends list, Foes list. The Friends list is where you add people that you enjoy being around. While the people on your foes list are people you don't enjoy at all. It is preferable that you put the person on the foes list instead of feeding a flame war.
Preferences: This is where you get more in detail with your personal information. Here you can choose if members can send you private messages.NOTICE:Moderators can send messages to you even if you have option set to no one, this is so we are able to send warnings to members who are breaking the rules.As well as choosing who can view your profile. Plus you can choose your time zone, and the board language.
Topic(s) being watched: Here you can keep track of any topic, what the information link does is that it keeps track of the topics, views, reply's, and the person who posted on it last. In order to watch a topic. You have to go to the topic you wish to watch, then scroll all the way down until you see a link that says "Watch this topic for replies". You can click on it. And then you should be told that you are now watching the topic. Now in order stop watching the topic, you simply click on the boxes next to the topics that you want to stop watching. And then you click on the button that says "Stop watching the selected topics".
Favorites: Sorry, I don't how to use it at this point, but I will edit it in when I figure it out, but I believe it essentially works just like the Topic(s) being watched link.

And now your probably asking. "Well gee, I sure didn't see any options pop up for me to select my avatar, or even make my own signature". Well the option to do so is not limited to Moderators only, it can be done by anyone who makes an account. The reason why you don't(edit your post and put "have" here, I'd do it but this is the only section I can't moderate) the option to do these things is because all of the text on the forums is in white. This makes it incredibly difficult to see when up against the pure white sections in the background. Why am I saying this? Its because the links to do things I mentioned are on top of the personal information options. These links are labeled as information.
